Jevon Whetter directed the world premiere production of Snooty, presented by the California School for the Deaf at Riverside at Deaf West Theater, Los Angeles, California, with the following cast on 8 May 1997.
MICHAEL/SNOOTY: Luis Torres Dena was the production stage manager and Shawn Brimhall was the stage manager. Adrian Blue directed a staged reading of Snooty at the Second Annual Worldwide and National Deaf Theater Conference, sponsored by the National Theater of the Deaf and presented at Wesleyan University’s Theater 92, Middletown, Connecticut, on 16 July 1996.
MICHAEL/SNOOTY: Alex Jones Patrick Graybill served as the script consultant and translator, and Kathy Holzwarth worked as the stage manager. An earlier version of this play won first place in the New York Deaf Theater’s 1990 Samuel Edwards Deaf Playwrights Competition. |
