Studies in Interpretation, Volume 11

From The Midwest Book Review

Deaf Interpreters at Work: International Insights is a pick for any college-level collection strong in issues of deaf interpretation, considers how deaf interpreters work in different nations, and provides a history of Deaf translators and interpreters and their professional standing in deaf and hearing communities alike. Articles span the world and include facets of interpreting by deaf people in many nations, considering the process of Deaf interpreting, teams and their preparation, and more. Any collection strong in Deaf issues and culture will find this an involving, scholarly study.
